We wanted to let you know about an issue that occurred on January 15, 2025. Our debit card processor, FIS, experienced a local power surge that affected their systems.
We encourage you to take a moment to check your accounts for any missing or duplicate transactions. FIS has been actively working to fix the problems and submitted a corrected file on January 27. However, it seems there are still some inaccuracies that have come up.
We know this can be frustrating, and we want to reassure you that we’re doing everything we can to stay on top of the situation. Please keep a close eye on your account, and rest assured that any transactions that may have been dropped will be processed.
Thank you so much for your understanding and patience as we navigate this issue together. We truly appreciate your support and are committed to getting this resolved as quickly as possible!
It has come to my attention that some members have received a phone call telling them they have fraud on their accounts and asking for the expiration date on their debit card.
WE WOULD NEVER DO THIS!
We have a fraud company that will text or call you and ask if a transaction is yours, THEY WILL NOT ask for an expiration date or the code on the back of the card.
If you receive a phone call like this, do NOT give them any information.
If you have any doubt, hang up and call the credit union directly. 585-589-5286
Sincerely,
Christine Ranallo
